The Walking Dead in Medway
On Sunday 19th February I put on a massive shoot based on The TV show. With a cast of almost 40 people, a team of Makeup Artists, a Gun Team and the help of Allgen Gaming.

I have worked on many large scale photo shoots and re-created scenes based on famous films including. Star Wars, The Exorcist, The Wizard of Oz, Hostel and many more.
Shoot Title/Description:
THE WALKING DEAD CAME TO MEDWAY
On the 19th February we re-created some scenes from this famous TV show. We based the shoot on the build-up and to include the very end of season 6.
Preparation, Planning and Inspiration:
I was approached by Doug - who is just starting out as a cosplay Negan. It’s his first time and he wanted some promotional images for his portfolio. As a massive Walking Dead fan, I jumped at the chance. I thought it would be great if I could find a couple of other look a like’s to join us on the shoot. Things went from strength to strength and within a few days I had 11 look a like’s, who could portray the members of Ricks team in that infamous scene.
Now we had something special we had to find a location, I knew of a car park in Rochester that is not used on a Sunday, it was big enough for what we needed, it had some urban backdrops and derelict buildings which was perfect for our post-apocalyptic shoot. The land owner was more than happy for us to use it. Next was our Saviours, I recruited an airsoft of 6 guys who brought along an arsenal of weapons. Ok, you can’t have a walking dead shoot without Walkers, our Saviours doubled up as Zombies and we had a few people who came along to be made up as Walkers and they also doubled up as Saviours later on. Local business Allgen gaming offered us their facilities to use as a makeup room and supplied us teas and coffee’s all day. Everything was set. We also had 11 makeup artists for the shoot. As this event had become so big and popular I teamed up with a fantastic photographer Stephanie Sceal from SAS Photography who was to help and work alongside me on this event. Everyone involved did this for fun and a love of The Walking Dead.

I use my trusted Cannon 5d mark 3 and my backup camera 700d.
